We had this topic over at Vault so I thought I would bring this back. Are you into football/soccer? What's your fav team?

For me, my taste changes from the league (Though I sit and cry over Europa because all the teams I like play each other).



Man U just beat Chelsea! They're my fav Premier League Team, have been since I was 4 or 5.

My other teams are...

I'm not into football at all. Not at all. The sport here is hockey. But the Montréal team, which I've cheered for live once or twice (we always win when we play in Mtl), is L'impact.



However, I'm still cheering for random teams. Manchester United, because I'm that cool.



Actually I don't watch them, or know how well they're doing, but if asked, I'll say I root for them, simply because in Life on Mars Sam Tyler is for United. Man, I loved that show.

Also, I support even more strongly (but less than the Impact)... this:



TSV 1860 München. Because when I was in Munich, Germany, we learned their anthem, and I'm kind of fond of it. Also, their ex-captain/goalkeeper, Olli Kahn, aside from having been awesome, had a song written for him by Die Prinzen.

I only ever watch games when it's Man U playing, or England. Perhaps the odd other game here and there if I'm at my mum's and, her boyfriend has a game on. Which is usually his home team:


OR if I'm at my Nan and Grandad's and they're watching a game, which is usually Man U's games more than anything. We're actually all big football fans in my family, at least where our home teams are.

Though, I've been neglecting my football a lot lately

I chose Man U for 2 reasons: I live in Manchester, and our team is just awesome

Now if I was going fully on Heritage...I'd be in the same boat as you as I'd be split between Liverpool and Man U lol

how bad is that? Or no? I have blood/genes in me from two people who come from the two places that are suppose to be big old rivals?

I gotta admit, Arsenal do have some good kits the yellow one of theirs however, not so hot.

Oh man. It's like Man U goalie's...away kit I want to say, that is bright neon yellow. But nothing is worse then one of Copenhagen's kits that is bright neon purple. x.x I think there should be a rule against kits being weird neon colors.

lol There is a big rival between Liverpool and Man U, me and my Liverpool friends are always comparing states. Same with me and my close friend who is a Chelsea fan. We were going back and forth over who was going to win the match today.

I don't watch much football/soccer. I've seen only one live game, and it was between Chile/Argentina for the FIFA U-20. :P Otherwise, I only very loosely know the teams, and don't watch it religiously.

My cousin's a big fan of soccer/football though. He *LOVES* Barcelona. And argentina. He has a bajillion of those soccer shirts, and ... yeah. Huge fan, him. He is in epic love with Messi. Srsly. He changed his english name from Danny to Leo because of that dude. Yeah.

Haha. I have Quidditch World Cup for both my ds (It's a gameboy Advanced game) and for my PS2. xD So I know stadiums and team colors and stuff. Yah... I'm that much of a Quidditch nerd.

Speaking of Rooney... I signed up to play in my friend's frat's Football World Cup and my team is representing England. The kid at the table asked "England has Rooney, don't they?" And I laughed and was like "Yup. He's also only like one of the best on Man U, ya'know." And he started to laugh. xD

On a side note... I decided to throw this in. Who's your fav rookie?



Mine is Gianluca Caprari from A.S. Roma~ *_* I'm sure he's going to be amazing given a couple years playing. He's only 17 right now but he's playing professionally. He's living the dream.

Anyway... My school's team is pretty cool. I watch the boys team because they like us marching band kids more then the girls team.

xD I was gunna post a pic of the team, but decided against it.

Anyway... There's this freshman boy on the team who is from Sweden and I wanna know why he came out here to play for our school, but I'm kinda scared of him. But he's totally not scary or anything, just... ~_~ Unfamiliar guys scare me.
